Notes on the recording:
"I remember reading about our second demo online somewhere. There was this guy, who I knew was involved in a label, that wrote something like "why isn't this a record? why hasn't anyone released anything with these guys?", and being a bit cocky I just wrote him and said "why don't YOU do that then?". Well, he and a friend of his did!

When we started planning for this EP we quickly decided that the last song from our third (and at the time latest) demo was good enough to re-record and use as the title track. It's not like we didn't have any new tracks to use as an A-side, but we felt the demo recording never made the song justice and this was a good way to fix that. I do think it was the perfect A-side/title track of our first own vinyl release as the song really is the apex of what we were doing at the time. It was loud, it was strong and it was full of attitude... the song has lived on in our set list all the way to 2015.

"Mescaline" was just one of those shorter and Mudhoney inspired songs we liked to do at the time. And "Dirt Cult '72" was a cover of a short little musical snippet in the movie "The Dirt Gang". The original music is just a couple of seconds long, so we expanded it and arranged it into a whole song. With a god damn organ solo! I think that song showed that we could be equally groovy to our loud and dirty rock we usually did. Anyway, I think this was really good for a first record of any kind for us." (Sjöberg / 2015)
